Carcass - Heartwork
Deicide - Legion
Manowar - Into Glory Ride
Dark Angel - Darkness Descends
Kreator - Pleasure to Kill
I don't know about that, the melodic metalcore stuff was still peaking in album sales past 2009. Killswitch Engage just kicked everything off.

But yes, I was referring to ****ty melodic metalcore, but if it is loathed as much as nu metal perhaps we shouldn't add any, though I like my choices.

Nah, most of the big bands' best albums were well behind them by 2009, and the newer bands were the third, fourth, fifth whatever wave ones. It peaked right around the time people were losing interest in deathcore, but before djent replaced that.

I'll add all this when I get home. I'll have to develop some kind of organization though.

Hmmm... Im thinking organized by genre since I try to make sure every battle is 4 different genres.

Bat, you think you can help with that?

Yeah. Don't be surprised if I troll the list though. It is what it is.
