I am very surprised that you've never heard of Saxon.

Motörhead is probably my favourite NWOBHM group if they count.

That's a band I keep meaning to give more time to ever since seeing them featured in Unknown Soldier's journal (where da fuk u at, bro?). I remember thinking they were cool but haven't gotten back around to them.
