I guess I figured it out. The bottom is what I got, it's an original from way back when, my dad got the promo copy from Rotten records when it cane out. Holepunch in the barcode and all

He let me have it since I listened to it like 7 times a day after showing it to me.

And holy **** I forgot just how amazing Ride the Lightning was even though I've heard it fifty bajillion times. Metallica might be the only band to have two entries on my list.

My second band would play For Whom the Bell Tolls at every practice.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

In middle school, we had a week of a random elective we would choose and I was in the rock band that was led by Mr. Burns. We played Louie, Louie and some other old rock tune, Secret Agent Man I think? Well on the third day I was playing Master of Puppets and ****ing Mr. Burns told me to not play that **** here, even though we weren't doing anything.

So me and the drummer kid there went outside with a line 6 and a snare drum playing MoP by an outlet. As a middle schooler I thought it was metal as ****.

God damn it. I don't know if it's gonna make the cut, but Stampin' Ground's A New Darkness Upon Us is the best thing that has "beatdown" in the genre name. Needed to be said.
