I guess I just find them inoffensive and catchy enough to not actively want them gone, as I do Botch. I don't know when I started to hate We Are the Romans, as I clearly remember liking it when I was first getting into metalcore, but somewhere along the way I just lost all taste for it and now it grates on my nerves like... a cheese grater... yeah.

I set aside personal bias since Coalesce is one of the most important mathcore bands of all time, but they're completely neither here not there in my listening. I've listened to all their albums like twice, and never thought anything more than "sure, this is fine".

I do dig their first album though. Brutal as ****. You should have used it. But their second is meh.
