If you want to continue to make it painfully obvious how little you know about punk then go ahead, but don't pretend like the fault is on my end.

I'm not a punk expert. I just know what was being played, and exposed to the masses, back in the late 70s.

Gottcha Epic album.
One of the contributing factors for The Clash was that they at the time provided affordable albums. Plus they had their ear to what was happening in Jamaica (i.e. Dub music) and they were kinda popular in the R&B and hip hop crowd cause of it (early-stage of hip hop).
