after being here and seeing this thread, i can create a more definite answer of "yup"

i have way more smashing pumpkins songs on my playlists than oasis songs.

I don't listen to either, but Smashing Pumpkins at least have an interesting sound and a few songs that I could listen to and probably get into for a little while. Oasis just suck donkey balls and I never listen to them if I can avoid it.

Billy Corgan is a whiny little bitch, but his band is still better.
