Yeah, I do remember not liking the album on my first few listens but then I grew ears. My favourite is always going to be their debut though.

God no! SiT has its moments but a lot of it is just plain boring and too long, pointing the way towards some of their more noodley progressive metal direction albums. I always go for NotB with a side order of Powerslave to go, chased down by Brave New World and perhaps leaving a tip of Killers.

I mean... I didn't knock on those albums. NotB and Powerslave are amazing records. But there really is never a dull moment on Somewhere in Time.
