Do you actually think this? I'm 20 in 4 months. I know, I know. I suppose I don't act like it or whatever. You said it so bluntly though that I couldn't tell if you were joking or serious.

Either way instead of insulting me, try educating me maybe? I've hardly listened to any grunge and the genre means nothing to me.

Everyone who is younger than me is 12 years old. That's the rule.

Grunge kinda sucks, but here are what I'd call the quintessential albums for educating yourself on genre.

Nirvana - Nevermind + the whole discog tbh
Alice in Chains - Dirt + the whole discog with Layne Staley tbh
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Pearl Jam - Ten
Stone Temple Pilots - Core

If you want to get a little deeper where the good **** is:
Tad - Inhaler
Melvins - Houdini
Mudhoney - Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge
Mad Season - Above

Oh yeah, I forgot about Nirvana. Which is weird because In Utero is one of my favourite albums. Listened to all of Nirvana's work, not really a huge fan other than their last album. I don't know if I really want to listen to the other 3, since I get the feeling from the singles I've heard that the whole albums are gonna drag like ****. And not in a good way. But the last 4 you gave I'll certainly check out.

AIC and Nirvana are the only ones on the first list I'd actually rec to people outside of an educational scenario like this. The other three aren't really worth the time (especially STP). The second list has my wholehearted approval.
