I probably like the catchier side of Arch Enemy more. I wasn't ever really a fan of the Johan Liiva years. Khaos Legions is my favorite AE album, so in that way, I feel like Will to Power follows up on that style pretty good.

Cause I've never heard the album. Divine Intervention certainly is not a bad album, but it is a major step down, the first time they ever released anything but a stone cold classic, heralded Tom Araya's unfortunate vocal shift, and they've never truly recovered (Christ Illusion being the one real exception). But stay edgy, bro.

Maybe it is just because of nostalgia, and the fact that "Divine Intervention" was one of the first metal albums I heard from the heavier side of Sabbath, but I still like that album.

"Killing Fields" and "213" are 2 of my favorite songs Slayer has ever done, but yeah, the rest doesn't do much for me, and the incredibly dated sounding "Dittohead" I think was a weak single to go with.

It doesnt hold a candle to the 2 before it, but seemed better than the 2 that followed it.

But "213" is a great song. I like to think of it as being a trilogy that started on "South of Heaven" and ended on "Divine Intervention"

Tell me these 3 songs dont have a kind of flow to them.

213 is pretty sweet. I really like it when Slayer goes for heavy mid-tempo groove.
