I hate Liturgy. I'd take Deafheaven any day.

In fact, this should have a poll on who's better, Deafheaven or Liturgy.

Aesthethica is the only Liturgy album I truly love, and The Ark Work is the only one I hate.

JTF get the **** out of this thread until you've heard more than 2 black metal bands.

Aesthetica is clearly the better album but if you think The Ark Work is bad then well I guess I don't agree with that because I like it. It's a bit repetitive but I'm really down with what it repeats. The back half of the album does indeed have some cheesy synths but it still successfully serves a different purpose that I guess you just have to be as intelligent as I am to be capable of understanding.

The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these songs, to realise that they’re not just great- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike The Ark Work truly ARE idiots-

And yes, by the way, i DO have an Ark Work tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

I'd rather listen to deafheaven too, but that Liturgy album gets dismissed simply because it's made by pretentious douchebags.
