I totally get that AA works for some. Just don't be "that" guy who thinks he's got me all figured out. Dude! We smoked angel dust and listened to Floyd's Animals together while wasted out of our minds. Do. Not. Preach. To. Me. Self righteousness as an afterthought doesn't work in this house. |
I'd rather ruin all of my relationships, lose my job, and become homeless than become the kind of loser who eats up circular reasoning like "it works if you work it."
And @ OP |
NGL I don't jibe with Doug Stanhope's view of addiction, but his view on AA has me scurred. I'd only go to find drinking buddies.

Although I guess as a genre free jazz doesn't isn't the most consistently heavy though. Death metal is an easy answer, but maybe power electronics with all of their meth induced shrieking might top it? I guess it's more intense than heavy but it's still with considering.

Death metal really isn't the most heavy or brutal either though, it just makes you think of heavy and brutal. How much of death metal actually qualifies as the most heavy or brutal music? A pretty small percentage, right? Grindcore more so, but still, it's kind of a crap shoot.
