Answer the question or stop responding.
Nah you started saying that in response to my first big post, with no indication that you'd ever thought that beforehand. My assumption is that you moved the goalposts to cover your basic ignorance on the subject.

That's why I try to simplify things by talking economic policy alone.

That's just a lie of course. My first comment existed to spark the discussion, I then clearly stated where I come from.

You stated it and then never said a single thing of substance. Gives the impression that you don't have anything to say and it's easy to interpret something that someone like that says as moving goalposts.

Have you ever considered that you tried so hard not to be an unthinking liberal in an echo chamber that you became an unthinking conservative defined by cheap talking points that could only be held up by not leaving an echo chamber? Because to deny a large and well-defined dividing line in the right and left is a common trait for those who have had a lot of training in mental gymnastics. Clearly it's better to take things on a case by case basis because that line is definitely flexible across various contexts, but you're clearly just globbing onto conservative oneupmanship here.

The further right you go the less government involvement in the economy, the further left you go the more government involvement in the economy. It's completely easy to understand and doesn't require much further explanation.

I also stated that if you want to discuss it in other terms like conservatve and liberal I would be happy to. But that's where I started from.

Why are you so confused by this? Is this your first time hearing about that kind of thing? If so I'm honoured.

Yeah PM me when you graduate to big boy politics.

I should have known that dragging myself out of my apathy for once in the last six months was a mistake.
