Zep is the band for classic rock bores. Sabbath is the band for real music fans.

Those were two separate incidents though.

No doubt Zeppelin were also an important band, but I never owned any of their albums. I used to listen to a lot of Sabbath back when I got into metal, plus they kind of helped invent what has become one of my main music genres, so... That's where the vote goes.

Led zeppelin

The only Black Sabbath record I like is the first....... Dont really care for the 2nd,3rd,etc...... It just isnt quite as good as the first album....

Led Zeppelin I like the first,2nd,4th (Zoso) and I have a live concert from them (THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME) and I like that also......

I had Black Sabbaths 1976 record TECHNICAL ECSTASY and i love it but THE VOCALS ARE SO LOW ITS RIDICULOUS! (Ya can barely hear them) -- Very badly produced......

I'm more of a Zep person I guess. Paranoid and Master of Reality are both classic albums but I think Zep was a little more consistent (at least until Presence) imo.
