I don't if it is the most metal song by your standards, but it is by mine. It's probably more of a rare metal of all the heavy metals. Jim Gustafson is wizard all over the fret board, and he covers a lot of territory in one song.

Was looking through the older threads and found this, and it's great to see someone mention Poobah! I love looking for obscure 70's metal bands that have been lost through history, and Poobah is one of my favorite 70's obscurities. "Jump Through the Golden Ring" is one of my favorites, and so is this should-be classic:

Montrose's 1973 debut deserves honorable mention. In hindsight that was such an important and influential release.
