I'm getting into Voivod. Their 2013 album, Target Earth is pretty damn cool.

OK, so I'm going to be annoying and ask for a replacement of my remaining 4 picks. These four are albums I legitimately hold as personal all time favorites. To me, they're real classics.

Arkona - Yav
Christian Mistress - Possession
Waltari - Release Date
Crisis - Deathshead Extermination

I'd love it if these could replace my old picks, but if not, I'll survive

Okay, I'll do it, but when I have time.

Cool

Now of course, it might turn up to be redundant if people care as much as they did with Nile

I'm just going to make an observation here. One of your changes is to Crisis, but someone already has a Crisis album in their selection. If nobody has a problem with two Crisis albums being in the list, fine. But it might be better to have only one album from every artist? Don't really care, just pointing it out.

That was me replacing my own earlier pick from the band

I just thought it might be fun to hear people's opinion on an older album from the band instead. I love both of those albums, but the older one has crazier vocals. You can replace it or leave it as is. They're both great albums to me.

Oh right, so both of them were you? Fair enough then. I'll leave it as the one you replaced the other with, ie Deathshead Extermination.

Okay, I think I'm going to pull this back to one album a week. The last few albums have engendered little to no discussion, or voting, and I'm considering this is due to a kind of oversaturation, of the sort Frownland was worried would happen with The Cure. Too many albums to listen to? Albums coming up too fast? Or just a general lack of interest? Maybe all three.

Either way, throwing up three albums a week doesn't seem to be working, so the next album will be posted on Monday, and thereafter on that day each week. Unless anyone prefers me to continue with three a week, but if that's the case, then there needs to be more discussion about them. It's kind of pointless posting album after album, just to see each thread ignored. And I get it, I do. Sometimes it's just way too much hassle and people could not be bothered. I get like that myself. Other than Powerslave, what's the last Metal album here that I actively participated in discussion on? So I'm not saying I'm any better or worse than you. Maybe we just need to slow it all down?

I don't mind taking suggestions for the next album from those left, if anyone's bothered. If not, then I'll just choose it at random.
