Staind did an interview on the local alternative station here in Atlanta.
I listened while in the shower, and I swear, it was the only time on radio that there was a complete silence, for like 5 minutes straight. Even the DJs joked that he was the most boring guy that they ever interviewed. I kid you not when I say : It was dead silent

Staind are from worcester, may you never visit that barrens wasteland. It was a town regarded as the best mosh pit bands had seen anywhere. That should let you better understand the mental capacity you're dealing with.

I once got directions to a dinner in worcester via strip clubs. "Ok you take a left at hurricane betty's, then go two streets up and go right at Lamp Lighters II"

(I don't know if they were real directions but im sure I could hunt the kid down who gave them to me if I wanted.)

Shouldn't this thread be, which band has the least talent?

Neither one is too great, but Godsmack has good songs.

I wont debate over who is better...cause I think of them in different terms..

See music is a healing factor for me..and I use different styles..artists..genre's to help me get through things..to help me associate my pain, my love, my feelings with reality..yuck..emo..anyways...

I like Staind..but Aaron Lewis whines so goddamn much that you would wonder if he ever is happy with anything..and that kinda turns me off from them...but musically..I like the guitar..I like acoustic Staind..I think its talents..but they just covered Sober by Tool and I almost cried..it sucked so bad...

GodSmack it cool cause its kinda grungy..kinda..heavy..kinda arena rock..and they put on an AWESOME show!

It all pretty much sucks, but Godsmack can fit solos in here and there which make them slightly more interesting.

I don't think many people in this thread have heard Godsmack's album 'The Other Side' - especially those saying that all their songs sound the same.

It's an acoustic album, and Voices is actually QUITE a good song.
