I’m about halfway through and this album is so ****ing great. These vocals are amazing. Mondo, did you hear the Obliteration record from this year? If you dig this, you’ll dig that too.

I'm no expert on modern death metal but Obliteration are the best DM band currently going afaic. I was so scared that they'd broken up after not releasing an album for like five years.

Their album was one of the best DM releases of the year, and that’s sayin a lot, as there were quite a number.

FYI I’ve listened to this Sepulcher album twice now, and I dig it deeply. I’m really into the crossover thrash meets cavernous death approach. I’ll give it a few more good listens, but it may well end up on my top 20.

PS- if this is going free form, can we listen to that Oxygen Destroyer album now?

And? Thoughts? I think it’s a ripping, fun thrash/death record. Not necessarily like a “best of” deal, but definitely worth listening to and a good example of modern thrash.
