Fair enough. But I stand by what I said, I'm confident that within a week or two, I can learn all but the guitar solo's in their songs. I do play piano and read music, but I don't play guitar, so it wouldn't be like I already know how to play it.

And as for writing material like that, it's really not that hard. You use a simple chord progression, repeat, throw in a clean break, back to riff.

Not so, nu-metal does exist. Its a mix of metal and urban music. Creed lacks any metal elements what so ever and therefore isn't nu-metal.
