Agree on Original Prankster,
Gone Away is Must!

I always connect that with Social Distortion's I Was Wrong - not lyrically. Possibly, maybe, released around same time - but also something in sound.
Anyone else hear it?

yes i used to love this album!
my favorite tracks were untitled and dont drag me down.

Yeh...Social D. still around, touring and working on new album-amazing! I know Mike N. also took time and released solo work some years back, too. The early country classic is pushed more forward on those w/Mike N. snarls, but far less punk than the inimitable punkabilly of Social D. which I thought was such an unusual combination that ended up working really well!!

good! would love to see them live, een nowadays.
an album by mike ness that i heard back in 2000(?) was crap.but as you say thecow-punk combination is working (at least many times it does)
