I missed when the Screamo vocals fully infested metal, but whatever, this track is pretty ****ing solid. Or maybe this is just a screamo song and Spotify in its Boomer wisdom put it on the metal playlist.

You sound like a pleb who needs to discover metalcore that's actually good. And who needs to learn what screamo actually is. This is just Nth generation hard rock from people who grew up listening to Killswitch Engage. Not terrible but calling it screamo is just boomer ignorance.

Screamo is cool if you don't think that screamo is just The Used with screaming. The popular perception of the concept of screamo is like the popular perception of the concept of socialism. 99% of the people railing against it don't know what they're railing against cause they're tilting at windmills. Screamo is not what you're talking about so stop using the word until you do some research.

I assume Screamo is whatever my friends subjected me to in 2003. That is my research and I'll do no more.

Well then you have no idea what screamo is. Screamo is a form of hardcore that evolved over a decade in conjunction with hardcore and emo at a time in the 90s and 00s when hardcore and post-hardcore were evolving rapidly. Here's a taste.

Sounds a bit like Litury's God of Love. Is that screamo also?

At any rate, yeah this isn't what I meant. I was referring to the vocal you might find in Atreyu's Wrong side of the bed or maybe even One Armed Scissor by the At the Drive-In. So what would you call that style of "I can't scream but I'm going to make a noise that mimics it"

This was good though. Anything else you'd recommend?
