Kashmir86 12-10-2005 09:53 PM

I love phish, It took me a while to discover them let alone take a liking to them, but now they are one of my favorite groups. They all are very talented, I love treys guitar work. I saw him play here in denver a couple weeks ago, hes talented. My favorite tracks are you enjoy myself, stash, run like an antelope, and chalkdust torture. My band I'm in is quite influenced by phish, as we do cover songs in the same sort of style they did, sort of change them some and extend the solos and just jam out, its a rush if your band can communicate well enough to jam like they did. I wish I was into them while they were still touring. Right on that your a fan of them too, its too bad everyone cant just roll a fatty, sit back and chill to some phish.:)

Yanqui_UXO 12-10-2005 09:54 PM

good band.

3 times, most musically talented group ive ever seen. The first time i saw them was at this place called Compton Terrace. 100% general seating, at one point we were right next to the drummer watching him jam. A buddy of mine picked up a video of them doing the entire Beatles White Album from a halloween show in 94, the most awesome version of While my guitar gently weeps ive ever heard.

Phish is sick. Junta is their best album. I'd die to see them live.

A Live One, IMO.

Phish are frigging brilliant. They need to tour once more...

boo boo 07-12-2006 09:03 PM

Phish can pretty much play anything they hear.

tdoc210 08-10-2006 02:07 PM

9 posts.. =/ this band is very good, i want o get all those live cd's.

Raine 08-10-2006 02:38 PM

I'm pissed they broke up. I saw them live like two times.
I could kill trey. starting a new band and everything.
it boggles the mind

Soundgardener 08-10-2006 07:22 PM

I only own one Phish album (Story Of The Ghost). It is quite good.

Raine 08-10-2006 09:51 PM

My favorite albums are Slip, Stitch & Pass and Rift
I don't think I have a favorite song by them. th way i see it one Phish song is as good as another. or something to that effect.

Antonio 06-02-2009 01:50 PM

well, i'm almost done going through my Phish cds so bumppppp.

i have Rift, Junta, and A Picture of Nectar +some live shows, and some of my favorite songs are Cavern, Esther, Chalk Dust Torture, The Divided Sky, Sparkle, Golgi Apparatus and Sanity

Trey Anastasio is such an underrated guitarist/composer imo

i think they have kickass covers too, i have a live show where they spend the entire second half playing The Who's Quadrophenia.
