Default Eagles Farewell tour

Heyas. My dad and I are considering going to the Eagles' farewell concert when they hit Sydney. We haven't got tickets yet but I'm pretty sure he's gonna get them, but I'd like to know the opinions of people either going to that concert anywhere or have seen the Eagles before.

Whaddya think? Good idea or total waste?

What about them? You can't just make threads. What if I just post band names in the topic and have the subject be "so yeah...", thats a horrible idea.

Need more pastor.

This dodge is getting old. If someone doesn't like what you've done, an appropriate responce is not "well what have you done". Just because I may or may not suck doesn't mean that your allowed to get away with it.

I think the eagles were alright. But certainly not the super group their made out to be. They had a few good tracks. But their influence over modern country (which essentially fused it with over prodeuced slick 70's rock) should have them barred from the hall of fame. 70's rock should have died in '79.

I'd like to point out that this is the 5th post and the 1st opinion. My original statement still stands.

Ok lads, its ok...

I'll try and get a topic going... I have seen Joe Walsh live, I thought he was excellent, really got a good atmosphere going!

I only like two songs, Desperado and Hotel California, but everyone loves that song. Guitar voted that solo on Hotel no1, which I think is a bit extreme. I think the majority of there music was kinda averege.
