they're already old. any band that has old members should quite/retire.
i believe 30-40 year old is the maximum age for a musician to pursue a band. otherwise, they need to retire.

Luckily, you`re the only person I know with this ridiculous opinion.

And for your information, nearly all the original Kiss members are in their late 50`s and early 60`s, so they`re long past your suggested 30-40 maximum age group!

Unhappy

I think this year marks the "Scorpions" and "Judas Priest" Farewell Tours. I just hate it when one of the all-time great Bands/Artist retire.

I think Gene Simmons will die on stage spitting up blood before he ever completely quits preforming in front of an audience.

Looking at it constructively, you could say that bands need to retire when they start looking like pensioners with long hair But I suppose if people are willing to pay to see them, then they should go on. Steven Tyler, Iggy Pop and Alice Cooper are good examples of this.

I got all the 70's Kiss records for $5 each at Walmart. I thought wtf, the early songs like Duece, Strutter, Parasite, Firehouse, Calling Dr. Love etc, etc, etc are catchy as hell. Unknown Soldier, you don't know what your missing! SoundgardenRocks, if you're close to a Walmart (I promise to never plug Walmart again), they're also selling all the early AC/DC albums for the same price. You can rake it in!

It is okay, they still have not come close to the amount of "farewell" tours the Rolling Stones have had.
