Default More cowbell...?

Is that going to be the last thought when it comes to Blue Oyster Cult? Or the first thought? I hope not.

Although their biggest three are Don't Fear the Reaper, Burnin' for You, and Godzilla, they have so many far better songs than just them.

Flaming Telepaths being my favorite by them.

Cities on Flame with Rock n Roll'
This Ain't the Summer of Love
Career of Evil
Transmaniacon MC
Goin' Through the Motions
Before the Kiss, a Redcap
Stairway to the Stars
Buck's Boogie
E.T.I. (Extra Terrestrial Intelligence)
Workshop of the Telescopes
The Red and the Black
7 Screaming Diz-Busters
Subhuman

All of those are better songs than the main three that most come up with, listed above.

I had the pleasure of seeing B.O.C. along with Kiss and the band was awesome! I believe it was about the time that Kiss had their Destroyer album out and the Cult put on a stunning opening show! I have collected numerous albums from them and have enjoyed their mi music over the years.

You mean this band as other songs other then don't fear the reaper?

This is news to me.

I've always thought Burnin For You has one of the best guitar solo's I've ever heard as far as tone and technique, it's just simplistic with an underlying brutality. Buck is commonly underrated in most circles, but not mine. Here's one of my all-time favorites that will more than likely remain off the radar for most, not for the guitar solo's but for the sheer beauty and brilliance that is Blue Oyster Cult:
