Yeh, they totally reworked the song and it's certainly the definitive version.

That's a tough one... you take "Stairway" out of the mix, and I'm torn between many songs... but, I may say Kashmir. It has such a good sound to it...

Few songs have the emotion of 'Sense I've Been Loving You'. It grabs your heart and tears it out, then steaks in on the wall with a nail, and practices throwing shurikens at it. As much as I love the drumming and kick ass guitar licks provided in this song, its really Roger Plant that takes this one to unimagineable heights.

Tangerine is a worthless excuse for a song and proves why Jimmy Page needs Robert Plant to write something. It's generic, it's trite, and it's boring. Low point of III by my standards. It might have even been a good song, but it sounds like every other acoustic classic rock song out there, and certainly doesn't bring anything special to their menagerie of talents.

I used that song to get laid when i was your age, that means it has considerable value. It sounds like every other acoustic rock song of that era yes, but played by much better or at least more dynamic musicians.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

But...look at the rest of the album!:

Immigrant Song
Since I've Been Loving You
Out On The Tiles
That's The Way
Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp

Four classics and some more great, GREAT songs. You have to understand, I have immense respect for Jimmy Page. I just don't like that song at all.

I can see why anyone wouldn't like it, I was defending it's honor is all. Three is probably my favorite Zeppelin album so I dig what you mean for sure.
