Default Classic Rock :D

Personally I reckon older stuff from the 60's 70's and 80's dominates the music today, both lyrically and instrumentally.
Listen to The Doors, Led Zepp, The Zombies, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, The Knack. That kind of stuff.

These are all great names except for The Knack!!!! Apart from "My Sharonna" we`re really scrapping the bucket here.

^By early Dylan do you mean 60's and 70's Dylan, or do you mean his very early folk stuff before he "went electric"?

the doors - american prayer. check it out.

not many people give it a chance since it was released posthumously and is just spoken word poetry with backing music...but it is actually really good and deserves to be known within the doors discography.
