And was his way terrible? Most guitarists if they have to play something try and play it their way. Both your points for Harrison being mediocre are terrible and really have nothing to do with his guitar playing just him as a person.

Probably because the Beatles weren't exactly all buddy buddy at that point i'd imagine.
