Rolling Stone gave Ragged Glory five stars. I also love both of those records. I'll go one further and say Le Noise is one of his best ever.

There aren't a lot of people that know Neil was not only signed with Motown, but was in a band with Rick James.

I agree. I love that album (2010). Kinda weird that he's stuck in the 'classic rock' section, eh?

Back in the 90s a friend kept calling me to come see a very talented folk singer at a local coffee house in San Diego. After a week of harassment I gave in, and arrived in time for the start of her second set. She was a cute blond with a funky snaggle tooth. About half-way through the set a commotion at the back of the room nearly drowned her out. I turned and saw Neil Young accepting a seat at a table no bigger than a pizza. At the end of the set he talked with the musician for almost a half hour, then left. It turned out to be Jewel's last night at the coffee house. Less than a year later "Pieces of You" was climbing the charts.

Amazing music - especially loooooove the song "Human Highway" and of course the classic "My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)" ...

and yeah, the "Harvest Moon" album is quite good, but I actually prefer "Harvest" from 1972 ...
