Hendrix's by far. It's probably the best cover version ever.

Bob Dylan's because I can't stand Hendrix.

The Dave Matthews Band cover is really ****ing good, the first version of it that I ever heard and I still like it more than Hendrix's and the original.

You need educating! Seriously a lot of artists that you like owe a debt to Hendrix, however circuitious the route. You can't say you hate him. You don't like him, fair enough; but the guy was so far ahead of his time and pwns so much music even now.

sleepy jack 09-16-2007 05:37 PM

It's not that I hate him, I just can't get into his music.

jackhammer 09-16-2007 05:47 PM

Do you have any albums by him? Are you judging him solely on his most recognised tracks? His songwriting, his recording techniques were just as revolutionary as The Beatles and The Beach Boys.

It amazes me that anyone who listens to such a wide variety of music as Crowquill would not enjoy the hell out of Hendrix, but there you have it. I would hold it against you but it is mind bottling...

little wing is my fave <3

thats what got me into him, not all along the watchtower.

I heard Electric Ladyland and didn't care for it.
