I was sitting on the crapper in our basement, I was a teenager. We had a finished basement that was like a family room. I'm sitting on the crapper in the bathroom and my father, who was watching TV, shouts out something like, "Lennon's been killed!" Not being able to see the TV from the bathroom I thought, "Huh? Lenin? Wouldn't he have already died a long time ago?" Anyway when I finished my thing I got out of the bathroom and my father filled in some more details while we were watching the news. The rest of the night I spent listening to the radio and everyone playing Beatles and Lennon songs.

Double Fantasy had come out some months earlier and I was bit sick of a few of the songs on the radio already. But by that time I *was* a Beatles fan (though not as big as I got several years later) so I did appreciate the magnitude of the event.

It’s still in my top five hardest cries.

Voted for Abbey Road for being the one with more songs from Paul.

Sgt. Pepper has more Paul songs too. I prefer John over Paul, even though Sgt. Pepper is my favourite

it's always been a dilemma choosing one but I think it'd have to be the White Album if not simply for the amount of content.

Well, as much as I love the Beatles, for me the choice is very clear: Abbey Road. It's not unnecessarily long (like the white album) and almost all songs are great: Come Together, Something, Oh Darling, Octopus's Garden (Ringo writing an acceptable song? Wow!), Here Comes The Sun, I Want You (She's So Heavy), Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight and The End (the perfect meddley). The worst album is...Sgt. Pepper's. I mean it,s not really the worst one...But I've never payed too much attention to it and never liked very much the songs on it. The Beatles albums ranked from my favourite one to my least favourite one would be:
1. Abbey Road
2. Rubber Soul
3. A Hard Day's Night
4. Revolver
5. Please Please Me
6. White Album
7. Help!
8. Let It Be
9. Magical Mystery Tour
10. With The Beatles
11. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

depends on the day - all of them are fantastic

All the albums I have from the Beatles are thankfully MONO and believe me,it wasnt easy getting them mono either!!! (Especially Abbey Road)
