deep Purple got my vote...no doubt their musoc was amazing but thast just me...this heat is pretty tough though!!

Can may be my hands-down favorite avant-garde band. There's so much that they incorporated into their first works that surpassed any other Krautrock. Absolutely superb.

Tago Mago is really famous, but I think Soundtracks was a better album. Can is a very good starting point for Krautrock I think..
