Another one bites the big one. I am damn sure he crammed a lot into his life.

I bumped the Stooges thread in the punk forum also.

Terrible indeed, r.i.p. One of my favourites.

If i had to choose one song which represents the spirit of rock n' roll then it would have to be Search and Destroy. And the start of Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell, fuck me! If all guitarists were as raw as him it would be something to celebrate.

More and more of the old guard are slipping away, it's sad to see. He'll be missed. RIP.

It was very sad news indeed.

My old man (who knows nothing of music like the Stooges) told me he heard on the radio that Iggy Pop had died. I freaked out when he told me, but then I found out it was the guitarist instead. Not suprising that he'd mix them up, since he doesn't really give a sh*t about that kind of music. Either way, this is still terrible news.
