Speaking of Rodrigo y Garbriela, this is just amazing

^^^^^Mmmm yeah. R&G are the biz! It surprises me that they don't really get discussed too much around here.

Thank to everyone who posted, I appreciate your input.

Antonio,
thanks for The Bekerfeild Miners by the Foo's I saw Beck play Country Blues once in a rock-doc he was pretty good at it; but I haven't came across anything by him.

Mr. Dave,
thanks for "mason williams - classical gas." I didn't post that one because I wanted to see who would, I knew eventually someone would. I love that 60's orchestra sound.

Here's two by Pete Townshend and one by Paul Weller, I hope you like,

I do apologise in advance as this is not from a Rock asthetic but this acoustic piece is fantastic and ample proof that in a seemingly commercial world of chillout there is still some great music to be heard:

khfreek,

Thanks for the videos, I really liked Three E's for Edward and Ocean.

Here are some videos of Leo Kottke, he's one of my favorite fingerpicking guitar players. He plays American Primitive Gutiar style.

The first song Leo plays is a cover of the Allman Brothers Band song, Little Martha, and there is an intresting story behind it, Jimi Hendrix appears in Duane Allmans and shown him the melody. Leo Kottke calls it "the most perfect guitar song ever written."

The second one is Ojo, he stops and starts from the beginning, I don't know if he really made a mistake or just has a wry sense of humor.

Vaseline Machine Gun speaks for itself, I just wish all guitar solos were filmed this way!

The last song is my one of my favorites, from Leo Kottke, Watermelon. I couldn't find a live version showing him play it so I had to settle for a (still-frame) picture of the album cover.

Well, I love acoustic. My favorites.
I have recently started listening to Blind Melon and they have some very good acoustic tracks. Here's a unplugged version of "Change".

And one of "No Rain"

This is a hilarious live version of Flight Of The Conchord's "Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros".

And one of my favorite songs ever. Foo Fighter's "Best Of You" off there DVD and CD SKIN AND BONES.

Black Label Society's "Spoke In The Wheel" is also a good acoustic song. Here's Zakk Wylde and Nick Catanese live in studio.
