I love Zep and most of all Plant and his 4 octave voice What do you guys think of his voice?

yeah its good but to me his voice wasnt developed enough to sing "babe im gonna leave you" on led zeppelin

i think they should have re-attempted it when his voice had matured

Dude, his voice is NOT 4 octave, freddie mercury was a 4 octave singer, plant isn't, this i can assure you...but anyway technical mumbo jumbo aside i think plant is a fantastic vocalist, one of my favorites and one of the greats...Led Zeppelin II and III have some of his best vocal performances...Zep IV and I as well.

yeah, I dont like his singing on 1 that much - still, its better than the background vocals on Communication Breakdown
