Not a big Cream fan but no denying Jack Bruce is one of the most influential and talented bassists to have ever graced the earth. Pretty sad.

I think Eric Clapton is a better musician then Jack Bruce, but throw in Ginger Baker and you do have a awesome power trio!

Yeah, this is a shame, and the guy was only 71. That may seem plenty old enough to some of you, but trust me, when you pass fifty, 71 doesn´t sound so old anymore.

Here´s a fave clip of JB in his prime, showing the power of his live stuff:-

Haven´t followed his post-Cream career, but when by chance I came across his Something Els album (1993), I was agreeably surprised. Some nice jazzy rock and some mellow moments too:-

Any other post-cream recs out there?
