Agreed about Zep having better albums / Stones better singles. Also agree about Satanic Majesties', which is actually my favorite Stones album (I'm odd, I know. It transports me to another world, which I need every now and then.).
Satanic Majesties' Request is the only Stones studio album I actually listen to regularly. I wish they'd explored that direction further.

It's a good album - probably my fifth-favorite of theirs (after the four directly after it). I don't really understand liking it more than Let it Bleed or Exile though.

I'm a psych-head. Tried to get into Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, and Exile, for the longest time, but they don't do anything for me.

I quite like them as a singles band, however.

I didn't get into the Jimmy Miller era Stones' albums until just a few years ago and now I love them and "get it". Each of those discs have a very unique vibe to them when listened to as a whole.
