I'd definately say that I'm more of a dedicated Stones fan than Beatles fan. I just can't get the beatles.

The Stones were fantastic, Mick had everything, power and emotion in his vocal, that pea**** /dandy arrogance, that say's I'll **** anything, boys or girls, and you'll all love it, and they probably did. One of the greatest performers this planet will ever see. As for the music the Beatles always seem to play well within their limits, barely breaking a sweat, The Stones gave it everything, and that comes across in the tunes whether they're live or not.

Go the Stones.
I have a video clip of them singing Angie absolutely ripped out of their minds!!! It's awesome.

Default The Beatles vs The Rolling Stones

which do you prefer, and why? id hafta say the stones, because they were much more diverse than the beatles, and to me, the beatles songs all sound the same.

thats not really true at all. Rocky Raccoon sounds nothing like within you without you, which sounds nothing like being for the benefit of mr. kite, which sounds nothing like while my guitar gently weeps, which sounds nothing like lucy in the sky with diamonds, etc. I love the Stones an awful lot don't get me wrong, but the beatles get my vote. Soooo many good songs.

I'd have to say neither.. Or maybe the rolling stones. Not by much though. The way I see it is the Stones were pretty bad, but the Beatles were worse.

i'd have to say the Beatles. Definitely the Beatles...IMO. I like their lyrics over the Stones, and the Beatles didn't do disco sounding stuff
