I mentioned a song by this Peruvian band in a previous post but here's their debut album in its entirety...

Tarkus - Tarkus (1972)

They sound like they were listening to a lot of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple at the time.

Here's the debut and only album from a Mexican group called "Peace and Love."

The original album cover was a rather boring, uninspired aerial picture of a crowd at an outdoor festival. This album cover photo is from the re-released version which was taken from the inside of the original album's cover.

They sound sort of like a cross between Santana and Chicago...

Here's a Mexican group with a noticeable Jethro Tull influence in their music. The debut album from "Nuevo Mexico"...

Blops - Blops (1973)

The third and final album from Chilean group "Blops" which was self-titled like both of their previous albums. Re-released on CD (with a different album cover) as "Locomotora" in 2001.

Psychedelic rock with jazz, folk, and prog blended in.

Jean Paul "El Troglodita" - VUDU (1973)

The second and last album from Peruvian musician Enrique Roberto Tellería Dávila (Jean Paul "El Troglodita") which was originally released in 1973. Some songs sound quite a bit like Arthur Lee, some remind me of Paul McCartney, with an occasional bit of funk here and there.

Here's a single from a Peruvian psych-rock group "El Opio" (The Opium) with their song "Una Bruja en el Cusco" (A Witch in Cusco). They released some singles but never an album during their time together.
