I voted for "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers In Your Hair)" because that one comes the closest to describing the late 60's hippie vibe in the US at that time for me.

However, this song would've been my choice if it had been in the list...

The Youngbloods - Get Together

I voted that one too.

I'm sorry because i wrote head instead of hair in the options.

Come on people now
Smile on your sister
Everybody’s not a mister
Try to love everybody right now

no!!

by the way, what's a mod?

Used on this forum, a mod (small "m") is a moderator: they have special rights and responsibility to keep us well-behaved. They also get to have their name in blue. Marie Monday is one of the best, and most active at the moment. Frownland is also excellent, but the forum gossip is that he is in the grip of a new romance and isn't posting so much.

A Mod ( capital "M"), is like the guy on the Quadrophenia album cover. He bought a motor-scooter instead of a motor bike, and , weird as it seems, therefore commited to one gang of guys, a certain type of fashion, haircut, etc. As well as The Who, The Small Faces were another band who were clearly Mods in their younger days.
