I dont really think my parents listened to rap. But, they do like a few songs nowadays, but mostly for the beats and not really any of the lyrics.

K.R.I.T. Wuz Here and Return of 4eva are both incredible. I am pretty sure that he does his own production too. I love his beats and the way he rhymes. Great southern rapper.

I saw Kid Cudi in his first show back in Cleveland. It was amazing. He just played the instrumentals of his beats and actually had to rap, and not just yell over the song.

Mac is ok. I wont go out of my way to listen to him, but the beats he uses are pretty good, so its not bad to listen to if you dont really care about lyrics, or just want to listen to something light...
