I was out camping this weekend, about 8 miles out, and I slipped on a rock and landed on the tip of my big toe. It was excruciating. It took me twice as long as it should have to wobble 3 miles back...

yeah, i grew up in the middle of the rockies. bears and mountain lions in my back yard, not a neighbor in sight. it was a pretty cool place to be a kid.
