There was a case where it happened in new york but I don't think it could happen in texas because I thought in that state as long as they are on your property you have the right to shoot their ass.

The way you tell that story it doesn't sound like he was defending his property. If he shot the two guys that were breaking into the house next to him. That's probably where he got caught up. He probably also didn't have his papers in order to own the gun maybe.

Im pretty sure that vid of the audio Dirty posted is what I was talking about. Like I said it was a while back and ive drank plenty of beer since then so I got some of the details mixed up. Yeah well in the audio he tells the cops that they came into his yard I think. It was his neighbors that were getting robbed but he confronted them...and shot them. lol..Im sure its not just a Texas thing...you just dont go around steeling from people...your bound to encounter someone of this mentality.

sure it's not only a Texas thing but Texas is the most lenient state and they usually don't punish you for shooting someone that's on your property. There has to be more to the story.

Yeah he said the dude got cleared on all the charges. We have weird laws here...its still illegal to carry wire cutters on you. Pertaining to back when a lot of cattle rustling use to go on in the old days. If you will notice on those jail and prison shows. They just about cover every penal system in the U.S. All the different states just about have an episode on there. Wouldnt you think that one of the largest states in the country would make for an interesting documentery jail/prison reality show... more so than the rest? You ever wonder why Texas doesnt participate in cooperating with those type shows? They dont play around down here and if you get caught breaking the law... they have their own rules they play by to..to an extent.

5 weeks now of unemployment. i apply for 1-2 jobs a day, and have only had a single interview.

the worst part is nobody acknowledges me if they don't want me. i've seen ads for jobs i've applied for go back online, yet never hear a thing from the employer.

i'm gonna be out of money and out of luck pretty soon

i thought you're already integrated into that society

there's racism here as well - the majority are Malays and believe in some sort of racial hierarchy - but most of the racism I get is pretty covert - allusions to me being a loan shark, triadism (Chinese mafia) etc
