Heavens on the fourth floor Im on the fith

For every broken heart in this room
Ill sing an extra note
we could believe if we wanted
she said "It's our mistakes that perfect our dramas"
Love once was a four letter word
now its a paragraph telling me
how wrong everything has gotten
(chorus)And were going nowhere
but its just enough
for me to never feel this way again(/chorus)
Sometimes it feels like you never cared at all
time and time again it feels
like were failing again
passing days
slip away
from these hands that
would build you worlds
(chorus)
and the morning dove sings
in a key weve never heard
if Im lucky Ill never fall in love again

Rough Draft
thought Id try something new
and stick with simplcity
feedback?

good. When writing a song like that you can verge on the cheesy, but you have avoided it. Well done.

thanks man.

The chorus feels dialed in. But other than that, it's really good.

TheNumber12LooksLikeMe 12-26-2005 03:40 PM

yeah I guess the chorus was forced.

sing it real soft and make people cry

TrampInaTux 12-27-2005 04:52 AM

Considering in another post Number 12 said that he was good at shouting, I doubt he will be singing this song softly. It would be like Slipknot covering James Blunt...

hahah that would be fun

Can you imagine it? You're beautiful BUT I WANT TO KILL YOU THEN SMELL YOUR BLOOD
