gotcha. hmmm, maybe it's that "i don't care" appears between the second and third, and the third and fourth, but not the first and second? but then again, that line fits in the context it's placed, but if it was put right after the first verse, it'd look like it was just stuck in there for continuity and wouldnt really fit. I see what you mean though, i can't figure it out either.

in all seriousness i am actually quite taken aback by your ability to read between the lines

its basically about wishful thinking versus experience... how you feel youve done something right, but cant get the nagging sensation that tells you it cant work out out of your mind

P.S. dont you just hate it when theres something to fix and nothing to fix it

haha, shouldn't you say "analizational women"? I got it right, cool. I know what you mean about having something to fix and nothing to fix it, bugs the hell out of me. But, in my opinion it's not a big problem in the least, I think most likely it's that you've read it over so many times that you'll find new things that bother you every time, just because you're trying to find something new in the song. I'd say put it away for a while, read it again with fresh eyes and then maybe you'll find that the "problem" is fixed.

haha, don't worry about it, my name is pretty ambiguous. Have a shot at spending some time away from it, it's worked for me quite a lot in the past, and not only with song writing. I'm always really critical of my drawings/paintings, so if I spend hours and hours on something, I often think it sucks by the time I finish it. I'll go to sleep, pick it up to pack it away for school in the morning, and find that all the flaws I'd seen in it the night before weren't really flaws at all.
