Failure Rhymes With Cancer
Kill the sound!(and the crowd!)
The curtain falls and your in the spotlight
(Your a hollywood failure!)
Watch the Lights!(You took away the sun!)
Now theres a revolution!
And Were here with loaded arms.
Rid yourself of these diseases
Failure rhymes with cancer
And your in the spotlight
Just ahead is sunlight
were dressing for the day
(dressing to explode)
we have a funeral in the street
How far can we walk
before our hearts give out?
Can we last a minute
in the garden of our sins?
Is this serious enough for you to look at me?
The lights turn blue as we revolve in silence
The iodine in the streetlights ignite
as I collapse in the soil
I can hear your heart beat from within the dirt
I dug it up and planted it in my chest
Your eyes were blossoming from the roses
I sewed them into my head
And every mirror I look into, I see what you saw in me
another novel in a bookcase of infidelities
The twisted indigo wraps around the ceiling fan
and explodes, shards of discolored rainbows
scatter across the landscape.
May god cast warmth on these winter strucken hearts
This coldfront bleeds right onto our fragile bodies
Freezes and shapes into images of imperfections
Let the Heavensent find us between the alaskan border
and thus from thy lips your sin shall be purged by thoust
My heart is on strings and wires
