So you're saying that we should spend time thinking up lyrics for a song that you will then use, probably pass off as your own work and we get nothing in return? You really don't have much human interaction, do you?

I recommend the premiere lyricist of our day, Kyren Tsunami.

gweetar, I've got to say that I'm slightly confused by the extremely negative response that you've recieved to your request.

If you've got any specific requests for themes you'd like a lyric written on then suggest them and I'll see if I can come up with something. I'll only spend a short time on it, mind you, and I'll post it here so that if I REALLY like it and decide to make it into a song with my band then I can easily claim dibs on it.

And to the rest of you... (particularly you Hobojesus! Come on dude, you used to write a rap battle every day), please put things in perspective. If you want your work to get noticed and get exposure then why not write lyrics for anybody who want them? Its good practise for starters and might just get the attention of the right person, who wouldn't have had the opportunity to hear your work directly from you.

Well, I'm up for it.

Just give me a more specific theme, gweetar, and I'll give it a whirl.
