Default How about we all put polls with our lyrics?

Being ever the open-minded creative type, I was thinking maybe we should start attaching polls to our lyrics, so that readers can rate them out of 10. Those who don't actually have any constructive input can at least give us a 'grade' to say whether they liked it or not, and how much (like HotOrNot, oh dear that makes me feel a bit dirty...)

If this is a fragant abuse of the system let me know.

For those who aren't afraid to get bad marks to begin with, it might be a good motivation to improve and help them to track the improvement...

Album reviews very often come with marks out of ten, so its not such an unusual or narrow idea really.

I think it should be up to the poster and whether or not they want their song rated like that.

Good point. It wouldn't be so easily done any other way anyway - its already set up such that the threadmaker can put the poll with their lyric. So the main thing is that nobody will get pissed off when we start doing it!

It's a good idea but it might make for less constructive critisism. A person walks in, marks the song and then walks out. And they probably think the score is self explanatory so the song writer might miss out in that respect.

But I'd do it, if I could write.
