Razor Meets Wrist

Razor Meets Wrist

It’s such a pity
That life didn’t go her way
All the teenage angst built up
Only to have
The rug pulled from underneath
Her world fell apart
Emotionally battered and bruised
Her parents fell victim
To the reapers deadly touch
Immediate family gave her the cold shoulder
Labeled an outcast at school
Got pushed around like a leaf
When the wind gusts
She comes home
Kneels along side of her bed
Tears begin to pour down her cheeks
Yelling and pleading with god
To show a sign
That she belongs on this earth
The once sweet little girl
Turned bitter and cold
She resorted to pain
To fill the void in her life
When the sharp steel slices
Her wrist
It gives her a rush
Of so many emotions
When the wounds form a scar
It’s a tag that she’ll have for wear
For weeks to come
Reminding her that death
Was more bare able than her own life
Life didn’t go the way it should’ve
She sent that message loud and clear
I can only imagine what her life looked
Like when it flashed before her eyes
With one last cut of her wrist
And one last breath
She wasted away any obstacles
That couldn’t have been over come
When razor meets wrist
It’s a combination that
Unlocks an irreversible future
A future that always ends up with
A reading of a eulogy.

Some of the events are real things that happen in my life....Granted I am not a girl but I think it makes this piece way better than if it was a guy.

Usurp Synapse is really good.

PaperHurricanesAndPlanes 03-02-2007 09:45 PM

Sorry, but the way this is written, not diggin' it. It's so "Woe is me" And the title...man...seriously?

Loser 03-02-2007 09:46 PM

Way it's written? what do you mean?

PaperHurricanesAndPlanes 03-02-2007 10:03 PM

Short lines and no punctuation. Plus how it's so "woe is me."

Loser 03-02-2007 10:05 PM

Yeah sorry about the punctuation I add that at the very end, this is still a draft. As for the woe is me thing I wasn't trying for that but thanks for your advice. There is always next time :)

I like that, knowing that life is an ever adventurous challenge, sometimes you don't feel up for it, I'm not saying I condone suicide or thoughts like that, but who hasn't thought that before? It's truth. Plain and simple.

riseagainstrocks 03-02-2007 11:09 PM

I think you should carry out this whole thread. Especially the title portion.

PaperHurricanesAndPlanes 03-02-2007 11:10 PM

Hahahahaha. That was cold, man. I also didn't know you ventured round these parts.

acratertocoffin 03-03-2007 12:05 AM

This reminds me of those Myspace bulletins that are like, "No girl should have to go through this." In fact, Ethan posted one on here.

http://www.musicbanter.com/hardcore-...tml#post333107

Still gives me the giggles.

The Dave 03-03-2007 01:40 AM

Thank you for my daily laugh.

But seriously, punctuation and better words and imagery isn't that hard.

I think you should carry out an attempt to shut the heck up!

Kevorkian Logic 03-03-2007 06:40 PM

Sorry about that, I just am getting the vibe your cutting experience has just been so you can say you cut and be emo, not the physical want.

Loser 03-04-2007 09:39 AM

No that's not true once or twice before I did because I just really couldn't stand somethings soo I tried it.....Other times just to see what it felt like.

You define the word tool. Go lay in the middle of the freeway. For the love of all that is decent in this world, end your existence. You fail harder than anyone ever has in the history of MusicBanter. Next time just slice your jugular and do humankind a favor.

TheUsedToolguy 03-04-2007 12:46 PM

at least he can come on here and admit to it rise agae-nst, I actually had really good parents, and was close to doing the same thing, so I can say I definitely sympathize w/ it. My life's been hard enough, I can barely imagine how hard it is for others.

You know atleast I come here and toldl the truth, I could've easily have told a lie and got away with it. But when I tell the truth and get bashed about it that's what hurts dude, I have a life that is bad but not the worst in the world but that is no reason to be bashed or insulted for telling the truth.

sleepy jack 03-04-2007 03:01 PM

Do you have food on your table? A roof over your head? Money? Parents? Are you healthy?

Loser 03-04-2007 03:04 PM

Yes to all but money

Yet you still manage to spend hours on the computer, I doubt your parents would be wasting money on the internet if they needed to pay rent. I call bullshit.

Loser 03-04-2007 03:09 PM

It's called a library computer.

Sparky 03-04-2007 03:09 PM

you brought that on yourself mate.
Everybody gets picked on some, you just don't know how to stand up for yourself-or be social.

They pick on you cuz you wont do anything.

The truth is honored, when it should be honored. You warp your situation so that life is bad. You bring this criticism on yourself.

I'm sure 95% of this community have worse life issues than you. However they don't wallow in their strife, they don't let it effect them and become better people.

TheUsedToolguy 03-04-2007 04:11 PM

Personally, I would rather have been born in this country than any other in the world. We can pretty much live long healthy lives by making good decisions, and choosing good friends, some people in other countries don't even have that option. Their lives could be taken away from them at any second, and through no fault of their own. That being said, just because you live in the U.S. doesn't automatically make your life easy. It's because there are people in our country so full of hatred, even worse than terrorists that are hellbent on inflicting pain and damage upon others, so Loser's alright in my book, because as long as he's just complaining about the sickos in our society and not becoming one of them, he's fighting the good fight. Although I have to call B.S. on the library computer thing. What library stays open 'til midnight on a Saturday night?

The ratio of his complaining to the actual harshness of his life, is very unequal. Simple as that.

That perks me up. You dislike someone more than me. I'm almost cool. :afro:
