Default Trainstation at the Stream

Hello everyone!
I'm new to the forums. Please, be gentle.

This one was a stream of consciousness of sorts, each stanza being a separate idea until I decided to connect them all.

The title is the name of the thread, just so you know. Guess what it's a play on. I dare you.

"Show the moment through how you perceived.
(It's a lot easier when the sun's not blinding.)

"I fell for your charm
without realizing
my prior mistakes.
Maybe that's why your the first
and the one to ask.

Never start late
you'll miss out
you'll lose time
chances will be lost
Don't hide
Don't seek
Don't play idle"

What if the umbilical cord
was never really cut?
What if we were all still
maternally connected?

I'm having a hard time connecting them myself although it does have a vague thread running through it all. Care to offer any more explanation of it?

Stanza 1: It's much easier to tell a story when there's nothing keeping the speaker from lying.

Stanza 2: Blah Blah, something about relationships, etcetera.

Stanza 3: A warning to not wait for something to happen, and the consequences when action is finally taken.

Stanza 4: What if everyone was related in some weird way? Why be so nervous if we're the same?

(Stanzas 2, 3, and 4 could have been grouped, they're from one point of view. Stanza 1 is the other (obviously).)

I don't get it. Are they supposed to be separate songs? They have all different directions. Try making songs out of all of them.

I can't feel the melody in the stanzas, but if their is one, I bet they could fit together.
