Default ****in texts

i dont know how it makes me feel when you call and tell me that maybe the next time im in fresno you'll take the time to see me and when i say hopefully you dont respond to me you wait there silently like your hints are above me.

guess im a fool for believing the words we were preaching that night in the parking lot where we sat and we talked about how much fun we were having just being together whatever the reason and seeing the sparks light our way out of loneliness.

Now when i send you a text i dont know if you'll even respond or even i care that you wont when you dont and i think of the things left unsaid and the damage i've spread from not speaking instead of relieving the stress and believing the rest will be ok.

im sorry i couldn't be next to you next to me.

I can't do that, it's 10 cents per text message for me...

But on a serious note.
It has thought. I could probably appreciate it more if I could figure out a good pace to read by.
I liked the first and third bits better than the second. The first, especially. It flowed well and gave insight on the emotions.

I'm not sure about your use of the word preaching.
Something like professing or a synonym would work better....even "saying", I think, would work better.

Kinda gives you an odd mental image to imagine someone preaching their love for one another....I don't know.
Preaching reminds me of someone trying to teach or instill something, not assuring or enforcing something.

thanks for the comments, they were pretty thoughtful.

I guess i chose the word preaching because preachers usually spit out a lot of bull**** without really thinking about what they're actually saying. Its blind in a similar way that love is.
